2002 - Rear View Mirror loose

My rear view mirror is loose and I just got it to slide off and then putting it back on, I'm like, how much pressure? Does it "click" into place? Do I tap it with some short screw driver? Not sure how to get it solid again, but wondered if anyone had a similar situation/fix...

Looked at mine, there is a snap on cover, so underneath the cover there is either a spring
type clip to hold it in place, or some type of set screw.
