I recently got a cold air intake manifold from a friend of mine, I have been waiting to put it on and get as much information about it that I can, first I was told that I would need to get the engine tuned to the new intake, is this true and if so is there anyone that knows how to do that, also from my research I found that most people disagree with adding a cold air intake to an already intercooled engine, will this be an issue or can I still add the intake? This seemed like an easy fun project to give my car a little more power, but i'm not sure it will be worth it anymore if I have to do a lot more extra work to get it running right, any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I don't see any advantage to adding a cold air intake to an intercooled engine.
Free flowing/ improved air box? Yes.

thanks for looking, I did some more research and it looks like i don't need to get the new intake tuned so I might just throw it in and see what happens.
