1988 Tbird 5.0 HO STARTING ISSUE !

Hello Guys !
My name is Don !
I have a 88 Tbird 5.0 HO
We just replaced the fuel pump and filter !
Now I just bought this one because of the 5.0
Its been parked for a number of years !
So we were going thru this one slowly !
Digital dash automatic
Now ! when we try to start it ] it trys to start and dies !
About an second or 2 of running !

Kinda at a lost here ?
Any Ideas ?

Push the fuel pump re-set switch first - free and easy 2 second fix. THEN check the fuel pump relay by changing it out with the a/c relay as a substitute - free and easy 2 minute fix.
