Hi I'm new to the forum I just picked up a 1983 turbo coupe that was swapped with a 5.0 from an 87 mustang and an 87 turbo coupe rear end with disc brakes are in the car currently.

I currently have 87 turbo coupe wheels on the car and in my garage I have bassett dot wheels that are 15x7 with 4" backspace and I believe that brings it to a 0mm offset, I am curious if any of you are running wheels similar to this and if they stick out past the fender? I don't have any tires mounted on the wheels yet, but would like to get some more insight before I go ahead and mount the tires.

Tires I have are 225/60r15.

Thanks,
Zach

Zach - Not a direct answer, but ... hope this might help a little. My 84 Thuderbird still has original 14" 4-hole steel wheels. To give it a beefier look without the expense of changing wheels, I put on Goodyear T/A radials. In front P205/70R14, and in back P245/60R14.. The tire guys guys were pretty careful to look at all the numbers before zeroing in on this combination. They fit perfectly with no interference, don't stick out and make the car look less wimpy, more hulky. Good luck with your Bird.

Thank you for your reply. Appears I was sent 16" tires so I just mounted them on the wheels that were on the car. These wheels are marked e7sc-1007-da and I believe the offset is around +31mm range which upon finding this out should help me with my wheel selection.
