1976 bird carburetor replacement

I went with a holley 750 for my Tbird. It too has a 460 in it, but how much emission stuff do you still have connected?

My car is 100% complete and original 22,400 miles. I like all is there but not opposed to a little clean up of "unnecessary parts"

Any input or suggestions for carbs for the 1976 460
Decided after trying to rebuild the original (three times). Went with an Edelbrock aftermarket mounted on a composite riser (to keep the heat from that big 460 down to a minimum). Never have a problem starting and runs very well now!

Also what model holley did you use and was it direct fit or did you use adapter

I went with this carburetor and this intake

However all the emissions on my 460 (was a late 70's engine) have been removed and capped. I would say for your 460 you would need the adapter plate for the EGR and emissions stuff unless you plan on removing the emissions.
