Hey there! I’m new here! I’m restoring my 74 Thunderbird and they have this awful 3D bumper molding on the doors. It’s bunching up and I want to get rid of it or replace it. I’m trying not to have to do extensive body or repaint.

Any help or thoughts would be great!

Beautiful car! However, you're in tough spot. I think (THINK) some of that moulding may have bolts going through the body. The easiest ones to check will be front fender and inside the trunk. You may have to resort to warming up the vinyl applying a super grade adhesive. I wish you the best of luck.
