I found a 1970 that needs an complete front clip but I have a 1960 front end that I salvaged from a parts car years ago. I like the fastback look of the 1970 but not the big beak (no offense to others) but if the curve of the doors and fenders matched, most would never know what I did. Anybody know if it definitely would or definitely would not work?

I've seen it done before with a '67 front clip...no reason why a '69 wouldn't work. Not sure what the intricasies would involve, but the sheetmetal will match-up.

Thank you so much. It looks great and unique. When the 63 Galaxie came out with a fastback ir was called a 1963 1/2. Maybe this should be called a 1969 1/2 Thunderbird! That also begs the question will 1969 Taillights fit in a 1970.

I owned a 1968 and still have a my 1970 Thunderbird. I believe 1968-71 were all the same frame and body parts should match however there are differences between the 2 door and 4 door models so make sure they are of the same door count. Yes the Tail lights are the same. At least on my two birds. The wiring is slightly different though.
