1967 headliner help

I have a 1967 2 door landau that needs the headliner replaced. It currently has the soft fabric headliner in it. Everything I have found is vinyl. My question is did they use the soft cloth fabric or did they all use vinyl for the headliners. 2nd where is the best place to order the material from, it is a red interior, and 3rd is there a trick to removing it from the car. I know to remove all the trim but what a out the aluminum strip down the middle. Thanks for the help
