1966 Thunderbird Convertible Emergency Flashers not working

I recently bought a 1966 Thunderbird Convertible and at the time the flashers were working fine. I was trying to fix the clock so I opened up that portion of the dash. After I put it all back together I noticed the emergency flashers no longer worked. The brake lights (after replacing the brake light relay in the trunk), turn signals, headlights, and parking lights all work as they should, however flashers do not work when I move the switch. When the flasher switch is on and I step on the brake, both turn signal lights and indicators come on and stay on steady until I let off the brake. Anyone else run into this issue?
