Greetings,
I recently purchased a 1966 T-Bird as a project car. It has air shocks on the rear. I do not think this would be factory, but I am learning about this vehicle as I go. Has anyone else experience this with their T-Birds. Could be the leaf springs started flattening out because of vehicle weight. I would prefer to go back with a standard shock. Any insight would be appreciated.

Monroe or KYB should be easily available for the rears. Never any factory air shocks offered on theses cars.
