Deleting coolant expansion tank. When installing a new style HEI distributor the tank doesn't quite fit. So you can delete it without changing the radiator, all that is needed is
1. Dorman coolant neck 902-1047 (purchase link)
2. Dayco upper radiator hose 70438 (purchase link)
3. 1-3/4 inline radiator filler neck (purchase link)
4. Hose clamps (purchase link)
Photos don't show the clamps, but those need added.
MODERATOR NOTE: PERFORM THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! IF AN EXPANSION TANK WAS NOT NECCESSARY, THEY WOULD NOT HAVE THEM AS IT WOULD BE A COST SAVING MEASURE FOR THE MANUFACTURER.
