Has anyone installed an ABS Power Brake #9759 1965-66 Ford Thunderbird Power Brake Booster Combo on a 66?

I have had 2 boosters rebuilt and both have failed (different rebuilders), also the new ABS combo has a dual master cylinder instead of a single.

ABS means anti-lock brake system. Cars with this feature are newer and have rotation sensors on each axle (wheel) to sense when one or two are locked up and then add pulsing pressure to all the brakes to help control the stop. I don't think anyone makes an ABS system that could be adapted to an older car. My understanding is that the system is quite complicated with all the wheel sensors and a module to monitor everything.

Another thing to consider is that newer unit you're looking at should have metric fittings for the brake lines. Your old bird is SAE...
