So I got my tbird to run right when it's parked, but as soon as I put it in gear it bogs down when I shift into any gear.

So when you say "bogs down" does it stall and die or is it excessive loading of the engine?

Another thing, I believe you have a modulator valve on the transmission. Check and make sure it's hooked up.

Vacuum leaks.... Rotted hoses, bad diaphragms, loose connections, they all contribute to very poor running and/ or no power.
