Need to replace my alternator, figuring I'd see if there's a simple one-wire internal regulator swap out. Anyone? Not interested in changing brackets etc., just looking for the easy one. If it ain't there no worries...

You may be able to get a one wire Delco to fit with only having make a new spacer.
