I am new with Thunderbirds and want to change the Transmission fluid and oil but do not know the bolt under the car where you empty out the oil, can someone please help me.

As Mr. Biddle says, get a service manual. They are available thru any number of Thunderbird parts suppliers. (Google TBird parts).
That said, the engine has a drain plug, but if the trans is original, It does NOT. You will have to drop the pan. (And you will need a new pan gasket, also available from TBird parts place).
