Hi Everyone,

My first Thunderbird restoration. It is a 1964 Convertible. Restoration is almost complete.
Now the trunk will not open when we try to put the top down. The trunk lid bows, but the lock
on the right side will not release. Left side seems to be working. Can't find a way to get to it.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

If the screws are not releasing there are bolts in the rear tire wells that hold them in place. Above the rear tires inside the fender there will be a bolt on each side that can be unscrewed to release the trunk lid. a TOP manual has this information.
