I've got a 64 bird and going to change over to disk brakes in the front. I already have all the parts from a 65 bird. My question is can I use the same lower control arms or do I have to use the 65 lower control arms? Thanks Larry.

You need 65/66 lower control arms if you’re staying stock; they’re different geometry than 64. I’ve done this. Good luck.

A suggestion: try finding 66MY dust plates if you can. They’re vented. 65s are solid and they must have decided to re-engineer them for more cooling before rolling out the 66s. Same fit.

PS: 65 spindles too, I assume you know already. Good luck.

When you post in the future please follow the directions/prompts. "Control Arms" is vague and doesn't have the model year(s). I updated your title.
