I am just finishing putting in my rebuilt 390 and there's one yellow with a red stripe wire that is bundled with the wires that go to the coil, and it has a female slide on terminal. I cant remember or figure out where this wire goes, its really bugging me and any help would be great.
Thanks,
Devin

mystery wire yellow w/red stripe

The '63 has a mechanical fuel pump, so the mystery wire cant go there.

I would say it's for the oil pressure light sender, which is on top of the aluminum oil filter fitting.....that fitting has a "male" brass button for a contact that will accept a female spade lug.
