Every bolt on component has a casting number. Block casting is on it’s right side where the block Y’s out and in front of motor mount. First should be a letter (C), this denotes decade,1960. Then a number (3), this denotes the year 1963. Then there should be a letter (S), this denotes Thunderbird, as model this engine could have been used in. There are more characters identifying engineering departments and design changes. Hope this helps.
