I'm restoring a 1962 convertible, I'm looking for recomendations for mufflers, I have dual exhaust, not looking for stock sound or any thing s loud as flowmasters, looking for a mufler that will give me a nice rumble.

You can still go with Flowmaster and get a decent rumble without the overall droning sound. I went with super 40’s on mine (1969 tbird), and it sounds pretty good with 2 3/4 pipe exhaust. There is different sizes and chambers. Going from 3 chamber, 2 chamber and down to 1 which is pretty obnoxious. There’s also Borla and Magnaflow too. Though in my opinion Ford motors sound good with Flowmaster on them.

Please include the model year in the subject on future posts. Added for you.
