1962 dim headlights

My 1962 T-Bird headlights are really dim and near yellow looking. It’s a generator car that charges normally. The light bulbs look new. Dim or bright doesn’t seem to matter. You can’t see anything with them. All the rest of the lights look normal in brightness. Thanks Dave

Your floor mounted high beam switch may be corroded. Check the connection to it also.
 
Check the ground to the lamps. Run a wire from a good ground to your present ground wire to see if that makes a difference.
 
My experience is it is almost always a bad ground.
 
bad wires, corroded connections, loose connections. You should have a little above or below 14 volts with the engine running.
