1960 Wipers only go halfway

My '59 (with 430) vacuum windshield wiper motor would do the same so I pulled it and rebuilt it. The rebuild was nothing more than cleaning out old dried grease and re-greasing it with good silicone grease. Works like a champ now .

Before you pull the wiper motor to rebuild it, I would try this trick first.

As crazy as it sounds I did this trick on my 1955 Thunderbird and on a 1959 Edsel, within seconds wipers worked like new.

Sounds like a great idea and easier fix. Thanks.
