I want to replace my fuel sending unit and the illustration in my shop manual shows the sending unit on top of the gas tank. What it does not explain is how to access it. Can you get to it through the trunk by removing the trunk mat, or do you have to drop the tank to get to it? Or is there another way? Thank you.
