Hi, Have Tbird E model does not have original carburetors. What size are the jets on the basic teapots?

Should I lower or raise the size of the 2 carburetors?

The size of the primary and secondary jets on a 1957 Thunderbird with a two carburetor 312 engine depends on the carburetor number. The carburetor number is located on the back side of the carburetor on the face of the flange.

I have R-1162A & 1161A what size jet would you recommend for my 1957 312 E Model

Both carburetors take the same size main jets; 0.05 for the primary jet and 0.073 for the secondary jet.

Hi Doug, Thank for the info. Lee
