How difficult is removing a 1957 parking light housing? What steps do you take? Prefer not to remove the bumper.

How difficult is removing a 1957 parking light housing? What steps do you take? Prefer not to remove the bumper.

I have not done it but from many comments I've seen there is no way to remove it without removing the bumper.
