I'm working on a turn signal issue and found the in line fuse on the orange wire from the flasher to the ignition switch "acc" terminal had blown.
While reinserting the replacement fuse the wire came detached from the fuse holder cap. I need to reconnect the wire into the metal contact which inserts into the cap.
The problem is the hole in the metal contact is small and the wire does not fit easily. I trimmed the wire and attempted to twist the contact on, but it doesn't stay on securely. There are no signs of solder on the contact. Not sure if this is fixable. See pictures. Metal contact is on far left with hole on the top, washer goes over contact (best guess) and all goes into the cap which must be on the wire before inserting it into the contact. HELP! 🥴
