Will somebody post a picture of the 1957 wire harness from the generator to voltage regulator? I need to know the route and if there are any clips (or ties) to keep it in place. My NPD harness seems to be short in just making it between attachment points.

Mine doesn't have any clips... I may add one...

There is a clip on the fan shroud of my 1955 Thunderbird, but that's only because the regulator is mounted on the drivers side.

Thanks for all the pics, diagrams, and notes. The harness I replaced followed the path of the first pics. The NPD replacing harness is not long enough to do that and is somewhat diagonal from generator to regulator. Don't think it's a problem catching on anything but just not the same.

I tightened-up the wires' routing at the regulator and the path pretty well follows the first pic in this thread. Wire colors are correct. My original was tied to the staples on the inner fender which of course wasn't correct so I wondered if there was supposed to be a factory clip, etc. It looks like the harness won't go anywhere though.
