Mine are all chrome except for the continental which has a white center, which should the 4 on the
car be white or chrome?

If you are referring to the small dog dish caps, they all are supposed to be painted. Colors differed between 55 and 56, not sure of the color for each year.

I bought new center caps for my '56 but they are not painted. I think the color should be off white but the car is not stock so the color is not critical. What is the correct color and how do you paint the background like the pi
cturee. (Picture for reference only)
