1956...How to remove the chrome bezel(s) ?

UPDATE EMAIL ADDRESS
I need to have the round chrome bezels below the steering wheel redone. I've removed the steering wheel, and the total five (5) screws I found on the next piece, and removed the lock ring around the steering shaft, but the chrome part just below the steering wheel doesn't budge.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Regards, Dan
