On the left, the one I took out. On the right, the one that I was told is specified as OEM.
Checked engine casting numbers to make sure the engine is original 292.
New one works, however, apparently a bolt on the flywheel hits something once every flywheel revolution.
Question: correct starter even though it looks different? Shims needed? Thoughts...?
