1955 reupholstering seat- Sacramento, CA

I need someone to reupholster my 1955 seat. Please, no amateurs. I am located south of Sacramento, but willing to travel to Bay Area.

I have a guy here in Gilroy who did my '57 and my '66 Mustang. Are you planning on purchasing the upholstery set and really need just installation or are you planning on having the seat cover sewn using raw vinyl? Reasonable price wise. Did the Mustang installation front, back and wrapping the quarter panels using a TMI kit for $400 or $500. For the '57, I purchased the material from SMS and he created covers for the bucket seats I had purchased and had him install. He also replaced the drop curtain and covered the trim pieces for the doors. That was back in 2001 and I don't recall the total price, But, his labor was less than $1,000. SMS material is now available from Larry's in Corona, CA. Have new seats for the '57 and will have him doing that as well.

West Coast Customs in Placerville did a GREAT job on my 1992 pickup. Came out looking OEM. Justin is the owner. May be a little too far up the hill for you. You can remove the seats, and just take those in (that's what I did).
