I think the left rear leaf spring on my 1955 has lost its spring. The left side measures 24 3/8" from ground to center of tail light, the right side is 25 5/8". The first four pics are of the left side and the last four are of the right side. What do you all think?IMG_7307.JPEGIMG_7309.JPEGIMG_7311.JPEGIMG_7313.JPEGIMG_7308.JPEGIMG_7310.JPEGIMG_7312.JPEGIMG_7314.JPEG

I don't have the unevenness you are experiencing but I want to firm up the ride, raise the back end by 1" and I'm replacing the entire suspension. I have been working with Eaton Detroit Springs to replace the springs and shocks. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They aren't cheap but I'm confident I'll get what I need exactly!

This observation may have nothing to do with your ride height problem, but did you notice the difference between left and right side bottom shock rubber bushings? The right side bottom rubber is not compressed at all compared to the left side bushings and it’s above partner.

Birdman of Coatesville 1955 weighs in about 2800 to 3200 lbs springs rated at 750 lbs per side the gas tank sits more to drivers side and the weight of driver could cause spring to weaken more on that side. I would take it to spring shop before replacing they can re arch springs and replace what’s needed
