We have owned our 2002 Tbird for ages. It is the better half's daily driver. We live where it is sunny and warm, so unless it is raining, the top goes down.
The top is kind of sticking/hanging up at two places as it closes. Do the hinges/joints need lubricated? If yes, where and with what...
I assume the rear deck respectable has two sets of holes because one is for the hardtop and one for the soft top? Why would they be different? Or are there two different hardtops?
Recently acquired a 66 thunderbird. When I try to actuate the top nothing happens. No motor sounds, no Hydraulic sounds of any kind, the fuses are all intact. Not exactly sure where to go from here any advice would be helpful on what to do or check next.

Hello I’m a newbie here on this thread thanks for letting me join in.
My question is this, does anyone know how similar the bodies on a 1965 / 1966 T-Birds are? Can a hood or trunk lid from a 1965 fit a 1966? Are the roofs exactly the same, etc?
Obviously some of the trim is different...
My 2004 Merlot did not come with the top storage rack. I would like to build my own. Would someone please provide the measurements from their OEM rack? Thanks!
Has anyone changed out an entire soft top assembly? I bought a very nice top assembly from a 2005 I'd like to install in my 2004; frame and all. Doesn't look like it would be too difficult, but am wondering if anyone has already done one?
