This car appeared at Pebble Beach in August and next at the International Auto Show in Frankfurt, Germany, in September 1999. It was a big hit and Ford approved the design. The car was introduced in the 2002 model year. This concept is unique and is built on a Lincoln LS platform with a front-mounted Lincoln V-8 and rear-drive. It has a 1-inch-longer wheelbase than production models, and a steeply raked windshield gives it a more aggressive style.
