This 1955 Ford Thunderbird was built on November 22, 1954 at the Dearborn, Michigan plant and was reportedly sold new in Los Angeles, California, where it was acquired in 1996. The car was repainted its current shade of orange during previous ownership, and power is supplied by a replacement 312ci V8 paired with an automatic transmission. Four-wheel disc brakes and air conditioning have been added and additional equipment includes power steering, factory 15″ wheels, a removable metallic orange hardtop, and a power-adjustable bench seat.
