You can also use a Lincoln LS with select shift- https://ebay.us/bAs2Pm
Please note, this will not fit if your car has the 130.00 select shift option. I am pretty sure nobody has had success buying those.

Question on layout of D5-D4 shift position 2002 - 2005

I have seen Birds listed as 2003 which seem to have different layouts of the shift position. My 2003 has an "up/down" D5-D4 shift position, but I have seen a few "left/right" D5-D4 shift positions, as shown below. Can anyone elaborate on these two configurations? Such as model years for each...

Hello,

I just bought a silver 2004 with black interior that’s in generally good condition but am cleaning up a few things.

Does anyone have an angle on a shift indicator part with the “manual shift? Mine has some wear due to a previous owner gluing on a trim kit and you can’t read the shift positions.

This is what it looks like. I know it’s no longer manufactured or carried anywhere.

UPDATE-
I was able to pick one up on eBay for around $100 from a 2004 Thunderbird, and the pictures look good. Now I just have to figure out how to swap out the one part after it arrives.
