hey i was wondering what is involved in a transmission saw to the 5 speed manual they used in the performance monels?

i did a bit more research and found that the 94-95 thunderbirds had a 4R70W transmission,

would that bolt into a 97?

is there any other transmission that will fit into a 97 v6?
