Tonneau 62 Thunderbird removal

It seems very straight forward but I want to make sure so I don’t break something. How do I remove the tonneau cover? I see a latch in th center and two knobs on the back.

Yes. Unscrew the knob screws on each side of the cover then unlatch at the center behind the console. Just be careful that it does not slide so that you don’t chip the back edges of the cover of scratch your paint. I take mine off all the time when I want the rear seats to show. Throw the knob screw in the console so that you never lose them! Finding new ones can be a hassle
