Tips on buying a 1956 T-bird

I will be looking at a 1956 T-bird tomorrow my first one any thing I should be looking for, where are the area of rust, etc. Thanks for any help Jerry

Hi,
I do not mean to be curt, but there are a lot of articles written on just this subject. The best advice I can give you is look at it and take a lot of pictures which you can later show to someone knowledgeable about T-Birds to see if it is worth your time and effort to look into it further. I suggest you contact someone in your area in the T-Bird club who can help you decide if this T-Bird meets your needs. There are a million questions I would have about any T-Bird.
