Hello

I have a thunderbird 1968 2 door.

I have metal rim and I would like to put aluminum rim.

Rim origin 6.5 ET 0 5x114.3

I am offered aluminum wheels 8x115 ET19 Mustang ...

Can I install them

Translation he's wanting to put the Mustang aluminum wheels on his Thunderbird, will they fit. Size is probably metric.
 
No I doubt they will fit. The lug pattern is probably completely different. Also you must take into account center bore diameter, backspacing and offset as well. Also the wheels on the 68 thunderbird are most likely standard. Everything back then was standard. Nothing was metric.

Well there is one way to find out. Pull a wheel and try it. Still remember your backspacing and offset. You don't want to be hitting the brake components or the wheel offset is so far it makes the car ride differently.
 
Ok thank you but as my car does not roll .. and the aluminum wheels are 500miles .. difficult to make the return trip just to try ...
