Removal of carpeted kick panels in a 67...

I removed the carpet on the drivers side of my 1967 Tudor. Some questions I have from this effort:
  • How are the carpeted kickpanels removed? I assume it is attached with a clip somehow but tugging on it did not work. I could not find a screw or bolt to remove.
  • It was considerable effort to pull the carpet away from the lower edge of the console. I just pulled it hard to get it loose and I'm wondering if there is an easier way when I do the other side. For the same reason I am concerned about a new carpet install and how to get the carpet under this edge.
  • Lastly, is ACC (https://www.accmats.com) the best source for carpet?
Thanks,
Gbird67
