I tried to eject my CDs and apparently the CD player jammed or something because I get an error and the CD won't come out and I can't get it to move to another CD, it's just stuck. Any ideas how to get the CD out or to get it going again?????

Do you have patience?

Same thing happened to me back in November.
Brought the car to the dealer --- said they would replace it for about $800.
Brought it to a car stereo specilist, and he wouldn't touch it or replace it. he said that CD changers in cars don't react well to bumps and/or heat.
He did say that I shouldn't change more than one CD without giving it a 'break'.
Suddenly in March, I pressed 'eject' )I tried it every day) and it popped out.
Since then, I only change one CD per ride, and have not had another problem. (Knock on wood).

But, like I said, you need to be patient.....
but it's a lot less expensive.

BTW, these CD units do not like copied/home made CD's with paper labels....only originals from the store.

All my problems have been store cd's. When I buy a new one. I burn a copy for the car. I haven't had a problem since.

Had same problem with my 2002 bird. Dealer replaced unit under warranty, but said usually the home made CD's are a bit thicker and prevents proper eject. Usually had to use a toothpick to adjust the CD as it was trying to eject.
Have had NO problems for last 2 years with replaced player.

There have been quite a few replaced that I know of

I know this was an old post (above) but if anyone is interested, here's what an owner did to get all CD's out:

"My manual does not say anything about 'eject all' can you help?"

"Yes, Eject😛ress EJ and a memory
preset (1–6) to eject a specific CD.
Press and hold for auto eject feature
which allows you to eject up to six discs at one time "

Hope this helps someone🙂
