LED taillight replacement

1961 TBird hooked up LED taillight replacement...left side (driver) works great, but right side will not work??? Put original bulb back in the right side, lights back up, but LED will not?

No luck, they will not light up
Try reversing the ground and hot leads...LEDs are directional, if the connections are reversed it won't light up. Unit's wires are sealed so not sure how to reverse? Tried some Sylvania LED replacement bulb but oddly , they lit up only when metal reflecter shroud touched the metal outer ring, but then they only flickered?? Is there are ground proble, but again, stock bulbs work fine??
