Leather seat question

[RT42]

Last night my passenger side leather seat cover came off the seat frame at the base. It appears to have come off the rod that holds it on. Has anyone else experienced this?

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. It took a little elbow grease to pull it tight enough to clip it back on. So far it hasn't come off again. I'm wondering if it was loose from the factory.

Same thing happened to me on the passenger seat. I'm going to put it back on tomorrow.

thanks for the input. I pressed down on the seat front and the metal holder fit easily on the retaining strip.

Mine was delivered with the passenger seat flopping. Had them fix it the same time they fixed the driver's seat belt, which was delivered twisted.

The same thing happened to me and I have had a hard time reattaching the long clip back into the front of the passenger seat

that's a standard ford issue apparently. has happened with my windstar and my wife's taurus, but hasn't happened yet with the bird.
