Hey all. Can someone tell me what this junction box is. I have some rotted wires in it and a plug that is just sitting there. Does this look like it is wired correctly? Thanks

I don’t have a guess whether it’s correct or not but for a fact it is not stock wiring. Definitely a hack job by a previous owner. I’d start with a schematic and search for where things went off track. Good luck.
