My husband passed away and I have his 2003 Tbird. I recently had a mechanic check out the car to let me know if there was anything that I needed to have fixed or replaced (the car is running fine, but we don't drive it much). There were 2 parts he needed for the cooling system and 2 parts he needed for an oil leak. He was able to find one of the parts for each of these problems, but he could not find the other 2. I am looking for part #XW4Z8A520AE (crossover pipe in the cooling system). I also am looking for part #2W9Z-6A642-EA (oil cooler assembly). I am not sure where I might find these parts (if at all), but maybe someone on this forum could point me in the right direction?

I have attached pictures of the parts that I need (I circled the parts that I haven't been able to find).

Thanks.

You need to tell your mechanic that many parts are not available as new so you have to get them on Ebay or junkyard.

There is one Oil Cooler Assembly- 2W9Z-6A642-EA

The other part XW4Z8A520AE was replaced with part number XW4Z8A520AF which is why they can't find it. Very common part-

The fact they were not able to figure this out on their own is very concerning. I would go to another shop and get an estimate. The whole job is 2500? Seems high and also a nice rounded number.
