The nylon gear on the motor side is broken & stripped and needs replacing. See picture. All other components work fine. Does anyone know if this part is available anywhere in the world? Even the complete assembly is currently out of stock from several vendors, but I can buy used from salvage yards. The motor is made by Siemens of Germany. Passenger side regulator assemblies are available and I trust this nylon gear is the same for a change-out. a change-out.

I Think I did find a gear for the motor on ebay. It's listed as Ford IMS Window Motor Drive Gear Factory New Units O - Ring, Washer, Snap Ring.

Just wanted those to know who need to know this is the correct gear for the motor and works perfectly if your gear has broken. Part is only $28 plus taxes. Very cheap fix vs $300 used and 23 yrs old as well

Welp, I got super excited for a moment after pulling my window regulator out when I cleaned the connections and got the motor moving again. I thought the motor was toast, but a couple pins on the connection between the switch and the motor were the culprit.

However... upon final testing before putting it all back in, I discovered the steel cable the regulator moves the window with was rusted, frayed, and jamming the system.

Does anyone know where I can find a new regulator assembly? With or without the motor is fine. Im really not looking forward to replacing the cable or possibly splicing a new end on it.
