Posting Parts Wanted/For Sale & Discussion in Wrong Forum
I'm hoping someone has a parts car they may be able to get a panel i need. I have searched everywhere and no one seems to make a replacement panel of. The guy who owned my 63 before me redid the trunk floor and just flush mounted the steel plates. He did not rebuild the spare tirearea and now I can't mount my gas tank because I have no where to hook my tank straps. He didn't even leave a spot for the filler neck to go through. I need to find basically the whole center section of the trunk floor. I can cut what I have for thetank filler neck butthe lip the front of the tank straps connect to is just not there. Sorry for the long post but I have waited 30 years to get another bird ( used to have a 61) and I'm heartbroken.
