How important is the convertible top boot cover? Does it serve a real purpose or is is mainly aesthetics? I bought 2004 recently that didn't have boot cover with it. Haven't decided yet to search for used one. I've seen some posts that talk about how troublesome boot cover is to snap on and off, such as if top needs to be put up in case of sudden rain.
