How do I delete a post?

I am new here and want to know how to learn how to delete a post that is irrelevant or for other reasons. Also, is there a place for Q&A? I am trying to learn my way around this site. Any forums for this purpose?

Why do you need to delete it? Just reply to the thread and tell everyone you sold it.
